If your pet becomes aggressive during the grooming process we require that you inform us prior to making the appointment. We need to know in advance so we can properly prepare for the job. Aggressive dogs are more prone to injuries such as nicks or haircuts that don't match our typical standards. Atomic Dog Pet Grooming will not be held liable for any of these injuries or haircuts that are subpar. We reserve the right to conclude this grooming service if your pet becomes aggressive or stressed.

We ask that you give us a 24hr notice before canceling your appointment. We do try our best to send out appointment reminders however it is the pet parents responsibility to remember their appointment. No shows and late cancellations may be subject to a 25% fee added to their next grooming bill. Service may be terminated after repeat late cancellations. Clients that are 15 minutes late will be subject to a no show fee and have to reschedule.

Please arrive on time to your pets appointment to ensure we have enough time to provide the service they deserve. We ask that you take your dog to go potty upon arrival so they can be comfortable during the grooming process. If you are unable to walk them before their appointment you can ask one of our staff members to assist you with this.

All of our appointments are one on one so we do ask that you pick up within one hour of being notified that your pet is ready so we can avoid overcrowding. You will be given an appointment time estimate upon arrival so you can plan your day accordingly. Late pick ups will be charged a boarding fee of $1 per minute

We do offer an In & Out service that will be set as our first appointment of the day (8am) and will need to be picked up at the time of your groomer's request. This service does not allow any wait time at our salon. Here are some examples of situations that may require this service.

If your pet exhibits destructive behavior. 

If your pet is medicated.

If your pet is loud or extremely anxious.

If your pet is aggressive towards other pets.

Excessive matting causes a lot of discomfort to your pet and can cause bruising to their skin and hide other wounds or skin conditions. Shaving matted animals is a delicate process. Even with great caution and skill it is much easier to nick your pet, cause clipper burn, or cause hematomas. Atomic Dog Pet Grooming will not be held liable to any of these injuries or uncovered wounds.

Here at Atomic Dog Pet Grooming we do not de mat excessive matting as it is inhumane to your pet. We charge a minimum of $25 for matting fees. If your pet requires this service it will be discussed prior to the service and there will be complete transparency so you don't have to worry about any unexpected fees or bald pets.
